Continued success for the Holland Biotech Pavilion at the BIO World Congress in San Diego

The BIO World Congress on Industrial Biotechnology in San Diego took place from the 17th until the 20th of April 2016. The Netherlands was represented in the Holland Biotech Pavilion, which included 14 Dutch organisations and companies with a focus on biotechnology, biochemistry, energy, feedstock production, transport and logistics. Statement of the Lorentz BioPanel

San Diego, 18 April, 2016. Today experts called for courageous action to improve our planet and prevent our well-being becoming under severe pressure. More than 4 months after COP21 we see little concerted action for reducing greenhouse gas emissions and investment in sustainable renewable energy and products. Valuable time, as the 2 o C temperature rise is only 20 years away.

The present commitments of the partners in the COP process are not enough to reach those targets. More is needed....

BE-Basic and CLIB agree to increase partnerships to develop the Biobased Economy in Brazil, Germany and the Netherlands

To increase strong collaborations between Brazil, the Netherlands and Germany, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Cluster Industrial Biotechnology (CLIB) and BE-Basic Foundation.
