BE-Basic on board of first regular 'Green Flight' by GOL Airlines in Brasil

Today GOL Airlines performed the first of a series of 200 regular green flights ('voando verde') from Belo Horizonte (Minas Gerais, Brazil) to Brasilia. BE-Basic, and its partners TU Delft, KLM and SkyNRG were invited to this event as the new members of the Plataforma Mineira de Bioquerosene. The platform stimulates the development of sustainable aviation biofuels.

Brazil - Netherlands cooperation program proposes research into biofuels

Advanced course on Multicomponent Mass Transfer brings together students from Brazil and the Netherlands at UNICAMP

From 10 to 14 March 2014 BE-Basic, UNICAMP and TU Delft jointly organized the advanced course Multicomponent Mass Transfer, hosted by the School of Chemical Engineering at UNICAMP, Campinas – Brazil. The course was attended by in total 19 Master, PDEng (Professional Doctorate in Engineering) and PhD students from UNICAMP and from TU Delft, creating a very international experience.

NIOO and Agronomic Institute Campinas organize practical course on soil nucleic acids isolation for joint ecology studies

From 9 to 13 December 2013, BE-Basic partner Netherlands Institute for Ecology (NIOO/KNAW) and our Brazilian partner Agronomic Institute Campinas (IAC) organised a practical mini-course on soil nucleic acids isolation, hosted at IAC in Campinas, Brazil.

TU Delft and UNICAMP announce joint ambition for 25 double degrees in PhD programs

The Vice Rector of the University of Campinas (UNICAMP, Brazil), Prof. Crosta and the Rector Magnificus of Delft University of Technology (TU Delft, The Netherlands), Prof. Luyben agreed to intensify their collaboration in doctorate programs by aiming for 25 Double Degree PhD theses by 2020.
