World Congress on Industrial Biotechnology and Bioprocessing

From April 29-May 2, 2012 the BIO World Congress on Industrial Biotechnology and Bioprocessing will take place in Orlando, Florida. This conference is the world's largest industrial biotechnology event for business leaders, investors and policy makers in biofuels, biobased products, and renewable chemicals. Entering its ninth year, the event is expected to bring together more than 1,000 high-profile scientists, executives, government officials and investors for an exchange of ideas in Orlando.

3rd International CLIB Conference

The 3rd CLIB International Conference will be held in Düsseldorf, on April 23 – 24, 2012.

The conference will be themed “Pushing the Bioeconomy by Science & Technology” and will address how to accelerate the emerging bioeconomy by partnering academic science and industrial research in order to develop sustainable processes and competitive products.

 

The Netherlands Biotechnology Congress

From April 16-17, 2012 the "Nederlandse Biotechnologische Vereniging (NBV)" will organise the 14th edition of the Netherlands Biotechnology Congress (NBC-14). The two-day event will take place in congress centre 'De Reehorst' in Ede. This years theme is "building brideges between science and business".

Pollutant degradation under environmental stress: towards rational bioaugmentation

The aim of the symposium is to present recent progress with respect to the understanding of the bacterial catalytic and survival capacities under conditions of stress and the environmental factors governing those responses, and how this knowledge may aid in the design of bioremediation strategies, especially bioaugmentation.
