Leadership Team
The Leadership Team (LT) is responsible for the daily operations of BE-Basic and advises the Board on BE-Basic’s strategic position and ambitions, which it will translate into policy. The team directs the Support Office (SO) and chairs meetings of the Management Team.

Prof.dr.ir. Luuk A.M. van der Wielen (Amsterdam, 16-06-1964) holds a MSc degree in Chemical Engineering from Twente University (Netherlands), and a PhD degree (with honours) from Delft University of Technology. Currently, he is Full Professor at the Department of Biotechnology at the Delft University of Technology, The Netherlands where he heads the Bioseparations Section effectively since 1998. read more.
Bram Brouwer

and Pharmacology, and a PhD degree in Medicine from Leiden University (Netherlands). He is an officially licensed toxicologist with over 20 years of experience in the field of environmental and nutritional toxicology.
